It’s that time of year again… the end of school! With it comes lots of graduations/promotions/reasons to celebrate. I made these cute graduation hats for my son’s preschool class. They were really simple to make.
- black card stock
- black spray paint
- cardboard
- brads
- glue
- pom poms (or tassels)
First, I cut cardboard squares and spray painted them black. It took me two coats to cover them.
Then I cut an 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock in half length wise and glued the edges together to make the base of the hats. I folded some down and cut those so I could glue those to the tops of the hats.
Then it was just glueing the parts together. I had black pom poms (I honestly don’t remember where I found black pom poms, since that’s not a really peppy color) that I made the tassels out of and attached them with a brad. Cute project and the kids loved them.
